Sweet Jesus it was hot!\012\012The fat lads really suffered in this game, given that the entire team were on the lash the previous night. Pat on the back for Noel for retching at the side of the field and hats off to Buck for falling to his knees, re-visiting last nights Sambuca and crawling off \012the field on all fours.\012\012Despite the pitch conditions, the game \012begun with a fast pace and almost instantly some chances were created.\012\012Just after the 20th minute, the ball was hoofed up field to catch Yohann ‘galloping’ up the left wing. A well timed flick found Sunil’s boot as he fired in an awesome volley. Magic.\012\012TGA were visably tired towards the end of the first half, and an array of changes in the squad seemed to unsettle the midfield.\012\012Wolfton show-cased why they are league \012leaders with an onslaught of attacks. One of them finding the net after some fantastic passing and positioning by our opposition.\012\012HALF TIME, 1-1\012\012With Tetsu resembling death warmed up at the sideline and the fact we only had 1 substitute, Khaled offered to stay on. Good man.\012\012The sun was obviously getting to both teams and a few nasty challenges and debatable decisions by the ref led to some heated exchanges between the teams. According to the ref, Boland overstepped the mark and was red carded.\012\012The loss of Boland was a big hit to TGA and Hutton was brought back to take up a central defence position, in which he proved to be a vital component to our survival.\012\012So, with 10 men we battled on. We nearly conceded when Wolfton missed a near open goal from 5 yards, and then scored whilst off-side.\012\012FULL TIME, 1-1\012\012Unfortunately, the game was marred by \012some outrageous behavoiur.\012\012\012\012The rest of White Wolfton played an \012excellent game, gave us a solid run around and kept us in our own half for a lot of the game. Good luck for the rest of your games guys.\012
