3 points dropped in a game we should have
won..

It does swing in both directions. 2-0
against Playouts last week and we win 3-2..
3-1 up against Barbarians and we lose 4-3.

Coming into the game with a heavily
depleted squad we knew it would be tough,
no shows with crappy excuses also is a
dissapointment.

FIRST HALF – 1-2
TGA started shakey with the Babs hitting the
woodwork twice, their towering front line
would be a problem all day. TGA regrouped
after 10 minutes and started to play some
great football. I think this is the first time
Sunil and Yohan have linked up ever!!
Notani was causing the Babs defence hell,
his quick turning and pace, the only way to
stop him was taking him down to which they
did. Great move from right to left sent
notani down the left wing whos cross was
pin perfect for Yohan to Score a close range
header. TGA confidence up and more
impressive football down the left resulted in
another great goal. Stu burst down the left
and chipped the keep from an angle only a
porn star could manage. Babs quickly
made 4 changes in a panic knowing it was
going all wrong. TGA could have been 3 nil
up… A tackle Darren Fletcher would have
been proud off took Notani down in the
box.. even Babs players where awaiting the
ref to point to the spot! It was not to be..
Resulting from that, 1 minute later Babs
scored from a set piece taking the game in
at 2-1 for half time.

SECOND HALF 4-3
Dont want to talk about this half to much
but, Yohan scored another header to make
it 3-1, we played some great football and we
did have chances to Kill off the game.. We
lost the game with defensive mistakes.. and
also the midfield and strikers where a little
tired from the sheer efforts they put in.

Please dont anyone take this personal, we
do need to cut it out though as its been a
TGA tradition since i joined to shoot
ourselves in the foot.

How we lost our goals
Mistake 1 – Long ball over the top, Croll
should have cleared or Rowan should have
taken.
Mistake 2 – Long swinging cross to back
post, I (sickboy) should have dealt with that
and not let their striker nod in.. my bad!
Mistake 3 – Jacko does of have dancing feet
but he pulled of a CARR (spurs) game which
led to them breaking.. Boland took man
down in box however i dont agree on the
penalty after ours was not giving in first half.

End of the day, Babs stepped it up in 2nd
half, they did play some football. From our
2 encounters this season, we dropped 4
points.. we should have taken all 6.. Lets
win the play off spot and take 6 points from
them next season.

Good Luck to Babs in Division 2, we will see
you there. Very sporting team great bunch
of lads apart from Gypsy and Franky… I
should have just chibbed them in the toilets
before the game..
