The social are currently in a rich vein of
form, however we made hard work of this
one.

It was a hot day at our new spiritual home,
the Chinese Rec.

With a squad of 18 this week we had to
rotate the team a lot, which made it difficult
to keep the fluency to our game.

After several missed chances by other
players, Sickboy thought he should open up
the scoring and popped up at the back post
to score a rare headed goal.

We always looked dangerous with Weaver
and Bradley exploiting the space on the
wings and from a Bradley corner, Hughes
added the second with an acrobatic scissor
kick..

2nd half we started slowly and a defensive
mix up resulted in a penalty which got them
back in the game.

Our 3rd goal was ridiculous, a comedy of
errors left Sunil with the simplest of finishes.

A fourth was added late on, but on another
day the score could have been 12-4.

7 games of the season left and we need to
win them all to have a shot at the title.

Well done to Adrastos for a game played in
good spirit….
