We went into this game expecting a tough one from our opponents affectionately refered to as KY Jelly. This is because we previously beat them in true TGA style in front of a global audience of 200 million. Also we were well aware that they were fighting for Division 7 survival with the prospect of relegation playing strongly on their minds. \012\012At the other end of the league TGA were \012starting to get a bit excited about our playoff promotion prospects to Division 6. If FECA were to lose against the ever powerful White Wolfton the same afternoon then the playoff game would be secure.\012\012There is not too much really to write about the match which turned out to be pretty irrelevant anyways. The weather was nice, cloudy and breezy with a little drizzle. We had the support of some hot WAGS, Elaine looked great in her short dress. At one point during the 80 mins I saw a Hedgehog emerge from below the stands and come onto the pitch to eat a worm. \012\012Our Captain The Right Hon. Gary Boland \012Esq. got man of the match for being the \012ever passionate strong man in defence. Neil Kent opened his TGA goal scoring account with two beauties, except they were in the wrong net. Despite being beaten twice by Neil, Cuong played a solid game in goal and kept the score line semi respectable.\012\012Wild celebrations commenced for TGA \012shortly after the final whistle when we \012learned of FECA’s 2-1 defeat. So we now look forward to our playoff game for division 6 promotion sometime next month. \012\012KY Jelly played a strong game yet their \012relegation fate now rests in our hands. We look forward to playing ESPZEN Rovers next week and (in line with our policy of fairness) fielding a team made up of those less seasoned players who should of had more of a run about over the last 6 months. Instead they lay in bed on Sunday afternoons with huge hangovers! It will also be a good chance for us to experiment with new formations and playing people out \012of position. Alex Noel you can also play goal keeper if you want, just keep it in single digits mate.\012\012KY Jelly we wish you all the best in which ever Divsion you find yourselves in next season. Perhaps we will meet again in the cup.\012\012TGA lets enjoy the next game, drink hard at the end of season party then focus just as hard on the all important playoff game next month. Divsion 6 will open it’s door to us if we can demonstrate that we are worthy of being let in.\012\012
