A dissapointing result for our first game of the season.\012\012We won’t blame this on the absence of some key players, because we really should have played better.\012\012Having said that, there were some solid \012performances from new players who are sure to secure their place in the TGA ranks.\012\012The game started off at a reasonable pace. A slick through-ball to Neil allowed him to chip the keeper and put TGA 1-0 up after 9 minutes.\012\012An equalizer was shortly followed by a 2nd and 3rd goal by Wolfton before the half time whistle. This was no suprise given the lack of fitness in our side.\012\012A few changes and team talk at half time did little for our performance and Wolfton deliverd the final blow in the 65th minute.\012\012Tetsu was taken down in the second half \012with a nasty tackle which was heart-\012breaking to see. Hopefully he’ll be fit within a few weeks to resume our division 6 campaign.\012\012Yohann the gazelle also took a nasty fall, but the vet says he’s recovering well.\012\012Ian put in a quality performance in his first TGA outing to earn him the MOM.\012\012Congrats to our opponents who played fast, attacking football as always. They are a team we will go all out to beat in our next encounter.\012
